Alternative media powerhouse Infowars.com is a giant in the liberty movement and it’s patriarch Alex Jones is a celebrated spokesman around the world for truthers. With breaking news linking the Managing Editor of Infowars to CIA connected Stratfor Intelligence, the organizations credibility has come under question.
Up at beforeitsnews.com is an article by Pete Santili commenting on a video by a Ms Sherrie that was posted on youtube documenting the fact that Infowars.com has recently hired as their Managing Editor an ex Stratfor employee Molly Maroney. The author of this article has taken a screenshot of Molly Maroney’s LinkedIn profile before it was subsequently taken down as the story gained momentum.
It is known that Stratfor has deep connections with the CIA. Often ex CIA intelligence officers are hired after service to work for Stratfor. WikiLeaks has published leaked Stratfor emails called “The Global Intelligence Files”, which outline how Stratfor acts as an intelligence publishing front for the CIA providing intelligence for US government agencies and corporations. It is known that Alex Jones on his radio show will assail Stratfor for these liaisons. David Chase Taylor, known for seeking asylum in Switzerland after writing the Nuclear Bible, had written a piece in June 2012 outlining similarities between the InfoWars.com and Stratfor enterprises.
However, most recently it has been made know that Infowars.com has hired an ex Stratfor employee, Molly Maroney, as their Managing Editor. For a news agency of their nature this is certainly alarming. However even more alarming is Infowars’ suppression of this information and censorship of loyal followers that post, talk, or in any way attempt to bring up this information within the Infowars media enterprise ie. prisonplanet.com, planetinfowars.com, the Alex Jones radio show… etc.
There can be no debate that Infowars.com and the Alex Jones Show has been at the “tip of the spear” in spreading truth in geopolitical and domestic matters that mainstream media fails to cover. The organizations worked to help build the Ron Paul Revolution, and broke stories like Bohemian Grove, and countless other fruits that has been revolutionary. Yet due to Alex Jones’ sharp rhetoric and consequently, his staff’s connections regarding Stratfor, and Jones’ own remarks “once a CIA always CIA;” has failed to address the Stratfor links properly combined with the censorship of followers posting related information can only lead to the organizations loss of credence.
